Excellent service received on arrival. Our luggage was lost by Air Asia & the hotel dealt with the situation & returned our luggage within 8 hours. The room was large and well-designed, the furniture and fabrics were a good fit to the hotels design. At all restaurants we received excellent service, the food was well-made and the timings between courses suitable. The beach BBQ was our highlight. The water sports center provided a high standard of equipment and the staff were helpful with tutorials. The spa was very well managed and all staff extremely helpful. Henry who waited on us for the BBQ and also waited in the restaurant was very knowledgeable and also showed a high customer service level. We left your resort fully relaxed, revitalized and feeling like we had the best holiday ever! You made us feel so welcome and all the staff super-friendly. Paul and Anne Harold Very welcome on arrival – we were escorted to our lovely room and given a tour, which was very helpful. The map of the resort was given to us and clearly explained. All our questions were answered fully. The room was excellent – more than we had hoped for. It was spacious, clean, and with all the facilities we could hope for. It was cleaned well every day and was lovely to come back to every day. We enjoyed all the restaurants – all of them were exceptional quality and with a wide choice. We were very impressed with the quality of the food at all times of the day. Also very fresh and well presented. We used the kayaks and really enjoyed this. The pools are all lovely – we particularly liked the Sunset pool as it was so relaxing – also very large and surrounded by nature, which we loved. We had a Malay urut massage – this was a great experience. The staff were very professional and polite and the massage of a very high quality. The surroundings are very relaxing. I cannot speak highly enough of your staff, who are all excellent – genuinely polite and friendly at all times. They made our stay here very special and we will highly recommend them. We would like to mention Sandy at the Sands pool bar as she was lovely and made us feel extremely welcome. We also found the staff at the Sunset Pool really great. We will recommend this place to friends and family. Merrilees Very good reception by the concierge. The room is very luxurious, everything is well-arranged. The food is very nice in all the restaurants, especially at the Rhu restaurant. Staff is the secret of the success of this hotel. They treat us as guests and are always there to serve and help. Krloufi Aha Arrival and departure were dealt with very smoothly and efficiently. Our limousine drivers were very friendly and informative. Accommodation was great – the room was big enough for all 4 of us and everything was clean. Restaurants were fabulous – fantastic variety of food and drinks. All our meals were absolutely delicious. We got the best massages we have ever had – thank you! All staff was very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Uncle Sam for making us feel so welcome. Hannah & Francesca are sad that they didn’t get a chance to say “good-bye”. We have had one of our best holidays ever. We can’t wait to come back. Phillip & Celeste Slater Friendly welcome, nice tour around the resort and we were guided to the restaurant for lunch. Very nice room! The bed makes us want to sleep for hours and the bath is very tempting. Beautiful view! Delicious food and drinks. Compliments to Sands, Saffron, Rhu, the poolbars and the bar/reading room. We went on the mangrove tour, we enjoyed our guide who could tell us everything about everything in a fun way. We had a manicure/pedicure in the hair & beauty saloon and are please with the result! Please give compliments to the whole staff! They were very friendly, helpful and made our stay even more relaxing. Compliments for the style and surroundings within the resort. The style of the resort combines and respects nature which is rare nowadays. See you next time! Ms. Afke Ante Jager Our arrival was handled very well after a tiring journey and all our needs catered for on departure. The accommodation was excellent and could not be faulted. All of the outlets provided excellent food and service and catered for all tastes. The food was the major part of the enjoyment! The activities provided are in keeping with the atmosphere of the hotel, enjoyable but not at the expense of other guests relaxation. My wife and I both enjoyed a very relaxing massage at the Spa in very pleasant surroundings. The staff were all very polite, courteous and helpful and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. We found the food in Rhu and Saffron restaurants to be delicious. The Spa was very relaxing. All the staff was friendly. We enjoyed kayak and billiard. At the Spa we liked that we were given complimentary 30 minutes head and shoulder massage. The staff was very friendly and smiling. Since we don’t speak good English, it was a relief there was Japanese staff at the resort. Kuniaki & Chiaki Sakurai The room was lovely! We liked the garden view, bed, robes – everything. All of the food was excellent and the presentation was superb. The pools were amazing! We enjoyed taking the kayaks out. Also we went on the mangrove adventure tour with Zoher. He was excellent – very knowledgeable and fun to spend the morning with. The Spa was incredible. One of the very best massages I’ve ever had. All of the staff was wonderful. The restaurants were superb – 5 star food in all outlets with courteous and friendly staff. Excellent surroundings, décor, etc. Good water sports available, and wide range of activities offered. What an experience we had at the Spa! And complimentary rain shower and massage were wonderful. The staff was faultless! Highly professional, friendly, warm, attentive – fantastic! On departure we received the bill night before check-out, which is a good idea. The room was of very high standard, housekeeping very helpful, sometimes over and above their duties. All restaurants were very good. Staff was always welcoming and efficient. Saffron was our preferred choice. We would like to specially mention Corey and Irma who always welcomes us by name. The food was good as well as the atmosphere. We could forget the rush of life in Japan. Our stay was too short to enjoy all the activities hotel has to offer. When we went mountain biking, we were impressed by the views of country road and the houses. We took 30 minutes massage, and it was really good. We really liked that the staff spoke to us patiently although we couldn’t speak English well. Hironobu & Nao Takeshita Good idea that guests do not need to check in at the reception, but in the room. Love the nature around the hotel. Definitely a differentiating factor. Good selection of restaurants and food. Good choice of recreational activities. The restaurants offered good food and great service. A lot of recreational activities for all ages. My wife and I used Spa on 3 occasions and we were very impressed with staff, especially Yani. Our arrival was prompt and efficient. It was also lovely to get in a cool car and have a friendly driver who provided insight into Langkawi. Very comfortable bed. The aromatherapy candle burning in the bathroom was a lovely touch. Service was always brilliant. Food at every restaurant was delicious. We participated in the canoeing which was fun! We also used the reading room – a lovely, peaceful sanctuary! The Spa was a highlight! We were both so spoilt during a couple treatment…I went back for more. Incredibly relaxing and an amazing backdrop. Staff was always courteous, friendly, gracious and kind. All while maintaining our privacy and space. Exceptional service particularly Rhian (reading room) and Sandy (BBQ dinner). In a nutshell, we loved it! Mr & Mrs Romano
