When we arrived in the evening, reception came out to greet us and spoke to us by name. The porters were excellent, especially with our heavy cases! The Suite was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for more. What a view! All restaurants provided excellent service and food. The Rhu was fantastic. We had a number of lovely meals there, they were made extra special by the staff. We used the tennis courts which were well-maintained and the watersports facility was good also. It was good to see no motorized watersports as this made the beach more relaxed. The Spa was lovely. The traditional Malay massage was particularly good. Great relaxing atmosphere with all the finishing touches. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The attentive but discreet staff made our honeymoon complete. The mangrove adventure was great fun – Zoher was a great host! There were a number of staff who were particularly helpful. Dedi was exceptional. Kristina was also very pleasant, helpful and friendly. Coney gave us a fantastic private BBQ experience! Mr & Mrs D. Foster Arrival - good, liked the idea of being ‘checked-in’ in the room. Room was extremely comfortable. The food has been excellent at all restaurants at every meal. We visited the Spa twice and both times we found the staff very friendly. And the treatments were good! We’ve found all staff extremely friendly and their service has been excellent at all times. Would definitely recommend Tanjung Rhu to friends and family. Very wide menu – lots to choose from and good service. Really enjoyed mangrove adventure tour, Shidih was an excellent guide. Spa was very good. Our room had everything we needed & more. Housekeeping kept the room very tidy with always a fresh smell in the air on our return. Food was delicious!! – We only ate in Sands and Saffron but both were of a very high standard. The mangrove adventure was fantastic, worth every penny. Spa – excellent, prompt and very professional. Best massage I’ve ever had. Staff very friendly and welcoming – made our stay very pleasurable. Lobby – fast and efficient. Room check-in – friendly, well-organized. Size of the room is great. Love coffee machine in room. Fabulous bath and view out of bathroom. Excellent toiletry selection. Restaurant Rhu – delicious, lovely presentation. Saffron – food excellent, love amount of choice. BBQ dinner was extremely enjoyable, food was delicious, great sauce selection. Only criticism there was too much food. Food knowledge and explanations was great and suggestions very much appreciated. Pools are gorgeous. Mangrove tour was very educational and entertaining – it is obvious Zahor has great passion for his work. We saw otters! Fabulous Spa experience. Very relaxing and personal service. Products smell and feel amazing. Outdoor shower very nice touch. We found all the staff to be very warm and friendly. Service was prompt and done with a smile. One of the best hotels I have stayed at!!! Can’t wait to come back! Vadera We were welcomed with friendly and warm staff who were happy to help! We found our room clean and well kept. It made us feel at home and relaxed. We also enjoyed the fact that the TV turned round! We enjoyed the food very much and like the fact that we have different restaurants to choose from. There was a wide variation of activities which we could enjoy and we specifically liked participating in the archery. We didn’t get to go to the Spa but our parents did and they found it very relaxing. It sounded wonderful. The staff were very warm and kind they were very polite and friendly. They helped us find our way around and were very patient. We thought that the setting was amazing! The pools were lovely. The wildlife was amazing, especially the monitor lizards. Ms. M.G. Pullara & Ms L. Pearson On our arrival the staff were amazing. The ‘check-in’ in the room was brilliant and our first time to experience it. The room had magnificent views of the beach. It was first class by our standards, we were very happy with it, cleaning service was excellent. The food was excellent. No complaints at all about recreational activities – always something to do. We loved the evening tea in the reading room. Your staff are amazing, always smiling, always greeting us and very friendly. The management should be very proud of them. Mr & Mrs Hall During check-in, we were taken to the room by the Japanese staff, it made us relax. We were surprised to find the room spacious even though we already knew that. We went to the Sands at first dinner. We didn’t make reservation but the staff were so kind and let us enjoy the dinner. We went to The Rhu two times and all menus were delicious. It was helpful that we could use internet in Japanese. We got head and shoulder massage, my husband looked like he was enjoying it and I liked the experience as well. It made us feel good that all staff were smiling, we were happy that some staff talked to us in Japanese. Thanks for AIP we could eat everything without caring about the price. Room kept well by house-keeping. Service excellent. Good selection of food on all menus. Standard of food was excellent. Staff polite, helpful and welcoming. Good range of recreations on offer – gym, watersports, indoor games, etc. All superb. Pool areas – fantastic! The grounds of the hotel are immaculately maintained. I have never been as impressed as I have been with the staff of Tanjung Rhu. They make you feel very welcome and cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable. Overall we are delighted with our holiday experience. I love how the resort blends in with the environment. Six days were not enough. I would recommend this resort to anyone. Katherine Crawford Wonderful welcome and driver was taking excellent care of us. Beautiful room. Eaten in all 3 restaurants but our favorite was Saffron. Staff: everyone was just wonderful. Our check-in fellow was very helpful and explained the resort facilities very well. Cahaya Garden Room – lots of room, always clean and stocked with all requirements – towels, robes, slippers. Good water pressure in the shower – always a bonus. Restaurants – all fantastic, room service to quality and choice of meals. More than enough choice of recreational activities. Room was clean and servicing of the room was again efficient. Availability and quality of food and drinks were excellent throughout our stay. There was a good range of activities to occupy ourselves. We have enjoyed our nature walk and adventure tours very much, particularly when guided by Zoher, the Naturalist. The Spa treatment, Ayurvedic massage, was good. Very friendly staff, on-time pick-up! Very nice! Room remains high standard, very clean and tidy. High standard food & beverage, especially at the Rhu. That is one of the main reasons we return to Tanjung Rhu Resort this year. We tried the mangrove river trip, fish & eagle feeding, also kayaking – the activities are all very attractive and the staff at sport centers are really friendly. I think your staff are the real asset of the resort, they are all kind, friendly and very helpful!! Cheung, Hang Kin
