We were warmly greeted by both our transfer driver and staff upon arrival. Our orientation was exceptional and we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was beautiful, our bed large & comfortable. Everything was perfect and nothing could have been improved upon. Incredible, beautiful, heaven sent, both the food, the drinks and let’s not forget the fabulous décor and the fantastic staff members. The swimming pools were the largest and most beautiful I have ever seen. The Andaman Sea - what an incredible view! The warm waters calmed my mind and my body. What a feeling! Great staff, beautiful smiles, attentive service. Your staff went above & beyond. I wish I could bottle what you have here. We came here to celebrate my 50th birthday and your staff celebrated it with me. This has been the best birthday I have ever had. I leave here with a feeling of love & happiness mixed with a heavy heart to be leaving such a beautiful place. My husband and I will be spreading the news to both friends & business associates. Beautiful rooms, cleaned every day, warm and comfortable, though great A/C. Fantastic choice of meals - something for everyone. Good range of recreational activities, reasonable prices. Very happy. Mr & Mrs Brown Pick-up was punctual at the airport and the staff even stopped us at the mini-market for a grocery shopping at our request. Appreciate that! Room is very spacious with exceptional amenities. Excellent food at Saffron and great fine dining experience at the Rhu. We were occupied with fun at the pools and games room. Friendly and experienced staff at Spa area. Felt rejuvenated after a great Swedish massage. Great hospitality was provided by all the friendly staff. Keep up the good work. Mr & Mrs Wilson Arrival procedure was extremely efficient and friendly. Easy to spot our host. Room size and comfort was exceptional. A/C worked well. Bedding was very comfortable & suitable to climate. Where to start and where to finish about the food? – Choosing for the meal was the hardest part of our day. They were all above rate!! Choosing which pool to start and end our day with was another tough decision! Spa was fantastic! – welcoming and relaxing experience. The staff was exceptional! Every single one of your staff has been more than welcoming. Friendly smiles greet us everywhere we go. Nothing is too much trouble. The bands were terrific and lent the right mood to the occasion. Saffron is a terrific restaurant as well as location to beach and layout of eating areas. Attention to detail is outstanding. From the gardens to the menu selections, staff training and ambience. Loved the fact that prayer mats + compass + my children’s beds were set up without having to ask. Good to know that guests’ needs are attended to in advance. Room was nice and spacious. Rooms are spacious and well-decorated. Also clean and luxurious. The food and restaurants were really nice, the best we have ever tasted! Plenty of things to do in the hotel – fun and entertaining! Vito & Jasmine Trantino The check-in and out was done smoothly. The room was good. I was told by the agent that it was the smallest one, but it was quite big. The food was delicious, staff friendly and courteous. The portions were too big so I felt sorry that we couldn’t finish all. Although we requested many things, the staff took care about us and spoke to us in English slowly. Also it was a great help to have a Japanese speaker Chieko. We will come back again! Mr Hiroyuki and Mrs Hitomi Motoki I liked that you provide umbrellas and beach sandals and that you send over some fruits every day. I have been to many resorts but this is the best one. The breakfast was good and the menu choice is very rich. For in-room dining, you provided candles, and it created a nice atmosphere. Enjoyed the staff, they were efficient and always smiling, Mr Tatsuro & Mrs Toshie Kumano Arrival was very pleasant and the explanation of the resort and its facilities was clear. We greatly appreciated that we could choose where and what to eat (a la carte) instead of buffets which you usually see when it’s ‘all-inclusive’. Quality of F&B is very high! Staff is very pleasant and friendly, but not too much, which is nice. Mr & Mrs Boonstoppel We liked that the lobby was so simple and there was no clock in the lobby. The food was delicious in all the restaurants, especially we liked the Rhu. Also we didn’t expect such a high quality in-room dining. For us, and we couldn’t speak English well, it was great help to order the food in the room. It was greatly satisfying to have three swimming pools. We liked Lagoon pool the best. I went for massage – and I find that the therapist here was better than in Japan, they should come to train here! The staff were friendly and always smiling. We really enjoyed Langkawi and Tanjung Rhu, surely we will be back! Mr Nariaki & Mrs Emiko Yoshizawa We didn’t need to worry about anything. Check-in and out was done smoothly without any problems. The only thing I can say is thank you. The room was spacious, feels like luxury. We really enjoyed All Inclusive package – we didn’t need to care about the price at all. This allowed us to feel more relaxed. I really wanted to revisit the spa. Thank you very much for your kindness. All staff was friendly and trained very well. We completely relaxed. Luggage arrived very quickly and quick response to pick up luggage on departure. Accommodation was so spacious!! – Loved the bathroom, especially the shower. Great range of eating outlets. We only ate at the Sands but can see that it’s a great restaurant. Lazing by the pool was all I did but the resort looks like it offers a lot. Loved the daily activity sheet. The spa looked gorgeous, I would have loved to actually experience it but didn’t have time. The staff was so friendly and courteous and always there to help. Nothing was too hard. Will definitely be back and will recommend to clients, especially couples and honeymooners. Sally Coligan Excellent concept for check-in – very relaxing. Rooms are spacious and elegant. One of the best I have seen. Excellent food and cocktails. Fresh, large quantity and tasty. Lots of options for those looking for activities. The spa looks brilliant but did not get a chance to try – next time. Staff is absolutely fantastic: friendly, professional, courteous, they definitely make Tanjung Rhu a wonderful experience. My kids loved the mocktails. Friendly staff. They would help us to the best of their ability. We love the hospitality of this hotel – it makes this hotel a league above the others. We were picked up at the airport promptly and welcomed on arrival. We loved the in-room check-in. The food was great – a perfect balance to enjoy for a couple of weeks. Sports guys were very friendly and nice. Great staff at the spa plus great treatments. Mr & Mrs David Page
