Very warm welcome on our Return Visit. Check – in details handled in a very friendly manner and very professionally. Whilst not wanting to depart, staff made process easy. Requested and received the same room as our previous visit. Same fantastic view & very comfortable. Wonderful food at all outlets, great staff and nothing too much trouble, even to cooling wine as requested. All recreational activities are high quality and well organized. We have experienced 2 wonderful treatments at the spa. It’s a highly recommended one. You have the best and most helpful staff we ever encountered at any hotel we have stayed in throughout the world. I could sleep very well. I liked Rhu Restaurant, it’s the best. The food was fabulous. It took a long time to choose the menu but the staff was polite. We did kayak, snorkeling, playing billiards and table tennis. We enjoyed every single day spent. We went only once to the spa. We relaxed very much. Herb tea served there was very good. Paul Pickowicz Arrival was very well handled from airport to room with the check-in in the room. It’s a nice idea. Very neat and clean room. We liked the fact that you could separate the living room from the bedroom. Excellent range of foods from the outlets. We appreciated the great breakfast buffet, and the Rhu dinners. We really enjoyed the fish feeding and eagle viewing. Also thought the cooking demonstration at Rhu was terrific. We enjoyed Yoga at your Spa. Would be good if that was available each day. The gym was well equipped. The staff were fantastic. Sam from Sands Restaurant was especially friendly and helpful aith our children, as well as Sue our babysitter. Mr. Peter Corridon & Ps. Carolyn Bendall We were so impressed with our stay and accommodation that we seriously considering returning to Tanjung Rhu. The food was plenty and delicious. I think we all got fat on this holiday. We were quite happy being lazy around your pools. Staff were all great, friendly, welcoming and obliging. Two staff members stood out from the rest, for being most friendly and courteous, Srigede and Novera. We were most impressed with the warm hospitality extended by Srigede. We had excellent choices and plenty of foods from the outlets. It was unexpected to have so much daily activities. Fabtastic arrangements to keep everyone entertained. The spa was very relaxing. The staff was wonderful. The most friendly service we have ever experienced. Only that it made our honeymoon one of the most memorable times in our lives to be remembered by such beauty and tranquility. Excellent service! Mr. & Mrs. Adam Culfield On the arrival, we found that the receptionists are very kind. The explanations was complete and quick. The room was very comfortable, clean and well designed. It was very pleasant to have a view of jungle garden from the window. The food was very good. There was various selection available and the chefs were excellent. The staff was excellent, friendly, professional, kind and the best thing is when they were keep smiling . The three orchestras or music bands were very good and the dinners and the moments at the cocktails bar were wonderful. We very much liked the Saffron restaurant and the food was excellent. And the atmosphere was great. The staffs were very friendly and accommodating. We loved the sunset pool and the beach was fantastic. Ms. Bauer Sabine This our sixth visit. On our arrival, the staff meeting us at the Langkawi airport as usual. They were still so much courteous and helpful like always. We have been staying at Tanjung Rhu Resort year in year out so much. So that our youngest grand daughter regard this place as her second home. She insisted on “Balik Kampung” for her holidays at Tanjung Rhu. The foods were excellent. A wide variety of choices. Although I have lost 10lbs over Ramadhan, I picked up 4 pounds at Tanjung Rhu. Sailing on the Catamaran has been exhilarating. I could not help noticing that left-side of the bay is eroding fast. The staffs were like extended family. Most of them know us and the children and the grand children and nothing was spared to make us comfortable and welcome. Congratulations! The accommodation has fantastic surroundings inside and out. Room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Great variation for personal BBQ. It was wonderful and beautifully cooked. In room dining was a pleasant alternative. There were plenty of choice for the recreational activities. We appreciated the daily updates and accompanying chocolates. Sunset cruise was lovely. The spa was lovely. Really enjoyable and relaxing experience. The staffs were very professional and courteous, exceptionally friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Vanessa Romeu The staffs were kind enough to allow us a late check out, which we appreciated as we had a late flight back to Singapore. We love the variety available throughout the resort. The Rhu and Saffron are particularly enjoyable experiences. We enjoyed kayaking and the pools were great. Massages at spa were extremely relaxing and we loved the ambience. All staffs were very friendly. Leni who served us at Saffron on Sunday evening was particularly warm and entertaining. A credit to your hotel! This is our third visit here and the experience always surpasses our expectations. We love the layout and the resort. The feeling of seclusion it never feels too crowded. You really feel you are “getting away from it all”. Excellent! Creighton We enjoyed the unique in room check-in service. The room was truly beautiful and very comfortable. Amazing! Saffron was our favourite restaurant. The food was very good in all of the centers. We took the Mangrove Tour which was the highlight of our trip. We feel we had the best guide and skipper there was to be had. The treatments at spa were unique and the staff was very talented. I should mention we are in the spa business in the USA. The most genuinely friendly and helpful staff we have encountered in our many travels. We traveled to KL, Penang and Langkawi. Tannjung Rhu and Langkawi were the best part of our journey. The accommodation was adequate and clean. The food was overall good. The Rhu French restaurant was excellent. The library was very efficient and helpful. String quartet was excellent. Great beach and scenery. Very picturesque and liked the rural aspect. The resort staffs were overall friendly and courteous. We enjoyed the experience. Mr. & Mrs. Edward Ringstead
Very pleased to be able to check-in early in the room and have a late check out. This is much appreciated. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was excellent and so much choices. All other restaurants were great, especially the Rhu. Excellent choice of drinks of all types. Really enjoyed the Mangrove trip. The resident naturalist was very informative and entertaining. It’s an asset to you. The two massages I had were really good. The staffs were all very friendly and helpful, especially room service and Rhu restaurant staff. And special thanks to staffs at Saffron Restaurant at Sunday lunch time that went out of their way for us to sit outside. Much appreciated! Kathryn Kearsley
