Islam is the official religion of the country, but freedom of worship is guaranteed under the Malaysian Constitution.

Dress Code
Visitors are expected to be properly attired with respect to the religious beliefs of the country. Visitors are requested to avoid walking in town in a swimsuit, as well as topless or nude sunbathing.
